President and Founder, Reeves Fine Homes
I am a descendent of builders. My father was a carpenter, his father and brother were carpenters and eventually, I too would enter the trade. I have always loved building homes and seeing a client’s delight as their new home takes shape. As a young man, I spent my summers working for a custom home builder where I learned the technical and hands-on skills needed to build a home. Along the way, I also learned the importance of hiring the best people and treating them with respect while working alongside them.
The measure of a successful project begins and ends with the people who build it. By treating my team of skilled tradespeople respectfully and fairly, I ensure that they will take ownership of the project's success which means we deliver the best for our clients.
Our clients have high expectations, which sets the standard of excellence for which we have become known. I am involved with the building process from design consultation through completion. If my name is on the home, then you know that I have done everything I can to ensure that it exceeds your expectations. I am very proud of the homes I've built. You can see some of my work on my Projects page.
Building a fine home requires equal measures of art and science. There is always more to learn as the science of building advances at an ever accelerating pace. I enjoy incorporating new building technologies into my projects. I balance my interest in science by practicing the traditional art of hand-crafted fine furniture making. Please visit my Furniture page to see some of the Arts & Crafts style furniture that I've enjoyed building. I have found that working with wood is as gratifying as it is humbling.
Using advanced building materials, proven construction methods and fine craftsmanship defines how a home will look, how well it will work, how easily it will be maintained and how long it will last. To that end, I am committed to delivering a home that will afford a lifetime of enjoyment and satisfaction not only for my clients but for successive homeowners for generations to come.
